JAKARTA – Residents are united in their request for Anies Baswedan to lead Jakarta once more. This request is notably marked by the placement of banners at various points throughout the metropolitan city.

These banners carry their plea for Fery Farhati's husband to run again in the 2024 Jakarta Gubernatorial Election.

From the photos received on Sunday, June 9, 2024, there are at least dozens of banners featuring Anies Baswedan's image spread across several locations, particularly in East Jakarta.

One such banner, displayed on Wijaya Kusuma Street, Duren Sawit District, East Jakarta, reads: "LEAVE ALL JAKARTA'S PROBLEMS TO THE EXPERT. ANIES BASWEDAN."

Another banner, also medium-sized, is displayed on Segaran Street, Cipayung District, East Jakarta. It reads: "Brother ANIES, let's take care of JAKARTA again, rather than worrying about those others."

While a banner on East Bekasi Road, Pulo Gadung District, East Jakarta, states: "Jakarta residents can't move on from Brother ANIES, let's gather again."

It is known that recently, not only through banners set up by Jakarta residents but the community is also showing support for Anies Baswedan by forming volunteer groups, and declaring that the former Rector of Paramadina University should run in the Jakarta Gubernatorial Election.

Furthermore, it is anticipated that many political parties will endorse Anies Baswedan. These parties include PKS, PKB, NasDem, and PDIP, which have already signaled their support for the former Minister of Education in Jakarta's political contest.

Residents of Jakarta have been placing banners along the streets. These banners are requests from residents to Anies Baswedan to run again in the 2024 Jakarta Gubernatorial Election.

From photos compiled, these medium-sized banners feature a photo of Anies Baswedan accompanied by a text.

One of them, displayed on Kawi Raya Street, Setiabudi District, South Jakarta, reads: "THE REAL JAKARTA IS JAKARTA LED BY ANIES BASWEDAN."

A banner is also seen on Tebet Street, Tebet District, South Jakarta. It reads: "OUR FAMILY SUPPORTS ANIES BASWEDAN TO LEAD JAKARTA AGAIN."

Support banners were also placed by residents on Education Road, Duren Sawit District, East Jakarta. It reads: "ANIES BASWEDAN ARRANGES JAKARTA WITH HEART, NOT WITH HEINOUS ACTS. GOVERNOR OF JAKARTA 2024-2029."

It is predicted that Anies Baswedan will run in the 2024 Jakarta Gubernatorial Election following indications from several political parties ready to endorse him.

These parties include PKS, PDIP, NasDem, and PKB. Moreover, many volunteer groups have already declared that the former Rector of Paramadina University should run in the 2024 Jakarta Gubernatorial Election.
